History is written by the victors and victors always rewrite history to their own benefit. Reality doesn’t care about what’s written. Reality just is. Nothing is inevitable. No course is certain.
Reality is, given sufficient time and resource availability, anything that can happen, eventually will happen.
In other words, instead of putting your trust in narratives and a perception distorted by past victors’ wordcraft, trust the law of big numbers and the universe’s ability to devastate all plans and schemes. Trust chaos and irony.
