The Iraqis used "old" cash as their barter mechanism after the invasion forces redesigned the currency system.If cash is outlawed, it will become the black market go-to for trading, at least for a while.There is a bottleneck somewhere though - someone will eventually have collected too much and not be able to offload it at some point.
