Thanks! Eno pioneered the whole ambient sound/music thing. Sometime in the late 70s, he suffered an accident and was confined to bed with I believe a broken pelvis. A friend was visiting and before he left, Eno asked him to put on an album of French harp music. After his friend left, he realized the volume was too low to hear well, so he listened to the faint music combined with all of the ambient sounds of the house and the street.
The entire album is worth a listen. It's mostly harmonic sounds, sort of like listening to an Aeolian harp.
