A liar always has to admit some truth or else the lie looks too obvious and people will catch on much sooner. I'm sure these "news" segments were aired like once and for a very short duration, that way if anyone came back at them with these fact they can say, "Look, we said it in our broadcast." Meanwhile the propaganda machine will continue to harp on the fear campaign of new variants. Now what they will never admit to is the global conspiracy that this is all being used to kill people and take everyone's liberties away. They will never admit that.
