So for years i hear how great IPS panels are, they are so much better than TN blah blah blah. TN panels suck blah blah blah. Its old tech blah blah blah.

Well let me tell ya, IPS might be better technically but in reality a high quality TN panel looks better.

I have been through 2 high end IPS and both got returned in favor of my 5 year old 240Hz Acer Predator TN panel. IPS has some serious backlight glow and it ruins its contrast ratio advantage. Also there is ghosting in motion handling, i can't stand it. My TN does motion so much better and there is no glow. It also feels way more responsive even though the new panels i tried were also 240Hz.

Picture quality and colors on the TN are just as good, maybe better. Just don't look at an angle ha ha ha.

Don't buy into hype, it often falls flat my love maker.
