They've been getting free healthcare since at least the 90's. The EMTALA act requires hospitals to treat anyone, regardless of ability to pay. They give a fake name and address and they walk away without having to ever pay a bill. One of the reasons emergency rooms charge such high fees, gotta try to make it up somehow.
