THEY see that a "D" turned in to an "R". This is what THEY see. When THEY say that THEY have lost control, this is what THEY mean.

You couldn't be further from my actual political leanings, you are making a strawman and having an argument all by yourself about political beliefs I never expressed. I am well aware of what republicans to (basically nothing) when they have power. I am well aware that they talk a big game when they can't do anything, but just vote with democrats anyway when actually in power. I have no idea where in my writing you inferred support for the republican party, because it isn't there.
