Its all totally predictable since their survival strategy is more ‘r’ than ‘K’ (see r/K selection). Some animals live fast and die young. Other animals have a more risk averse approach. ‘r’ types pursue quantity of offspring over quality of parental care. There is variability between human populations. Ss Africans are clearly closer to the ‘r’ end of the continuum, as exhibited not just by their behaviors (promiscuity, violence) but also their biological processes.
