There I was, just minding my own business, when BAM! this little fucker divebombs me, nailing me on the back of my upper arm, where muh soft supple skin is oh so sensitive. I knew there were wasps around, but so far, none of them have fucked with me. Well, once is enough. Now they all must die.
#TOTAL WASP DEATH
Any suggestions for method of mass execution? I was thinking I would shop vac the flyers, then blast the nests with wasp killer spray, then safely chill on the hammock with a tall glass of ice water.
I have honey bees so I have to be careful. I use a dilute boric acid (roach killer) sugar solution. Talking about half gallon jug of apple juice, half full of juice, a tsp of boric acid and topped off with water. Pour it in old cans/cups with a stick so they can land and drink easily. It's strong enough to kill, but not instantly so they carry it back to the main nest and share with all the others. No where near enough sugar to attract bees.
This works best in the spring when the nests are small/still getting established, but the only difference between then and now is how long it takes (1 week vs probably a month for total eradication).
