You can count one one hand the brain cells involved in the claim sub feature.

...99% sure he left because he got partially doxxed about living in israel, and didn't want to deal with the fallout.
Also if I'm remembering correctly it was a user called fuckVoat that doxxed him. Which also means Doug wasn't the one that made him leave, unless FV is an alt of Doug.
