The "Free Stellar Blade" campaign has seemingly been victorious, with SHIFT UP releasing an update that removes the censorship in some of Eve's costumes. And some gaming journalists are FURIOUS about this. Mark it on your calendars, folks...
Wow, I had heard all the controversy about this and looked up what people were bitching about... the alternate sexy costume that everyone was promised would be uncensored was made slightly less sexy by covering more of the woman up.
From what I understand, it wasn't the outfit itself that people were pissed about- it was that they were promised uncensored content and they got censored content.
IMO, this is part of a larger battle in the world of art, where modern artists/journos/politicians want beauty to DIE. One of the reasons Stellar Blade is so popular is because for 100% of the game, you have a gorgeous woman rendered in amazing graphics on screen, rather than playing as a fugly tranny like most studios would have nowadays. Sex sells, and I can't believe an industry like gaming would turn their back on that.
