When someone makes an assertion, positives and negatives are assigned to adverbs or adverbial clauses implied or expressed directly, from memory most often those of frequency, to render the assertion either faulty or factual. Been a while since I actually dissected statements with the symbols, but after learning the technique I became especially sensitive to faulty logic.
People who cannot or don't put value on words are easily led.
