Settings -> About -> Phone -> Build Number -> tap seven times to unlock developer mode

System -> Advanced -> Developer Options -> Show Bluetooth devices without names -> Addresses only

Presumably they didn't have other bluetooth devices since it's obvious that they would also generate a signal.
Key word here is presumably.

There's also the issue that PWH mentioned, how are they being powered? Harvesting energy from the human body to generate a signal strong enough to be viewable from 60 feet away is completely absurd. Likewise they aren't putting batteries into people as the battery would have to be way to large. A pacemaker's battery is fairly large and it only supplies very minor processing power, and tiny electrical impulses when the heart needs them.

Then there is the issue of using bluetooth. If you're going to covertly implant wireless devices into people, why would you use one of the most public radio frequencies that everyone has ready and easy access to?

There's also the issue of broadcasting whatsoever. As an example, if you surgically put a remote detonated bomb in someone, you wouldn't need the bomb to broadcast at all. It only needs to receive. Meaning, unless it is designed for identification purposes, there's 0 reason to broadcast anything at all.
