Anyone able to tell me why? Concern is that it will die again in mid game, but seems to be working perfectly fine so far.
Im going to see if I can replace the fan with something better in case cooling was the issue, but the box was already dust free. I've been testing it with the covers off, but I dont want to keep it like this.
360 just like ps3 had board warping issues due to insufficient thermal reduction
the cure was to completely dismantle it, lay the mobo on a flat surface, and use a heatgun to reflow the solder at the point of failure (PS3 was the GPU, can't recall where the 360 went bad)
