It comes from my ass, but I feel like I'm being generous. Let's look it up right now...
"On average, a college graduate with 10 years of experience can expect to earn around $76,707 annually" according to jewgle. I feel like that's a low number but at my best I made more than double that and it wasn't out of the ordinary for my profession. If you're going to to lose 4 years and be in debt for over 100k, you might as well not go. I went because of being told by others to. I wasted years of my life and some money. I didn't feel great about dropping out at the time. Now I wish I never went.
I want to add something as well, some of the richest men in the world dropped out of college. Of course I am not comparing myself to them, I am just discussing the role of college. There are some professions that do require it, like doctors. So it was a little tongue in cheek when I said it. Meant to ruffle some feathers. Looks like it did :)
