I won’t go into much detail as the dude has wasted his life without much hope of retiring with dignity. Had to cut him out of my life after he made a sneaky plan to not pay his rent then ask the extended family to borrow money to prevent eviction in some sort of pity party. Even his mother and other cousins warned us not to give anything.
Still, there’s something very humbling about my semi-retarded loser cousin: If he could only learn to shut the fuck up, listen more, and try someone else’s way for once: then he could spare himself years unending pain, suffering, and hardship. He is like a Chinese finger trap in that he struggles and fights to do everything HIS way. His own ego destroys him.
Then I think to myself: Maybe I should shut the fuck up, listen more, and maybe read a book. No way to know what I don’t know.
I believe he’s a narcissist. He constantly talks about how hard he works and how all his misfortune are someone else’s fault. Strangely, I’ve never heard him talk his children, his wife, or his goals. And now his wife is gone.
