An unbalanced diet is unhealthy all the way around. You need fiber, carbs, protein, and various nutrients to be healthy. So,while eating "just meat" sounds great at first, you start to rethink it when you get the meat sweats. And no,just grain gruel isn't healthy either. You need balance.

All I know is I start feeling sick when I eat one thing too much. "I've been eating a lot of meat lately. I should take in some veggies." Or "I'm eating too many carbs,I should cut back and eat some meat for protein." That kind of thing. I always feel better when I'm in balance.
that's cool, I'd be interested to know what "veggies, fiber, carbs" you consider "staples" in your balanced diet. https://youtu.be/tjFKk93ehcc even my dog and cat like to eat some grass/greens from time to time...
Well,in general,I say eat what you feel. That's what makes addictive substances such a bitch. They mess with your body's ability to define what it wants. Cravings generally mean you're low on something and need to fill up on it.
As for staples, well,it's all "bad for you" depending on who you ask. Generally,I like to eat at least a little of everything each meal when I can with meat being the centerpiece for the most part. I don't always, but I like to when I can get it. A cheese burger is a good example of a "balanced" meal. Wheat (bun),dairy (cheese),meat (hamburger),veggies (lettuce, onion),and fruit (tomato). I don't really have a "set" thing I eat every day, tho.
Raw meat is fucking awesome. If meat wasn't slaughtered in a factory and processed by a dozen people and aged two weeks before I slap it on my counter I'd totally eat it raw most of the time.
Naturally-raised animal products, a wide variety of vegetables, clean water/air, sunlight, and plenty of exercise. That's all most people need to be physically healthy.
Grains are a cheap source of plentiful calories, but they're not healthy for human consumption.
