Holy shit, totally have a thing in common with Pontiac! Also gotta loosen up the motor mounts, to get it to raise a good few inches, just to be able to reach the damned thing! STILL looks impossible even then... I'm just gonna throw it away and get a new one. That new AMG E-class coupe looks nice
Only the aft sensor by the cat is throwing the error at the moment, but I ordered both fore and aft sensors just in case. I'm sure both will need to be replaced before too long, but maybe I can just hire someone to do the forward one since I am too faggy and I never got that lift installed in the garage, and now the garage is mom's storage unit to fill with crap. I should get rid of that crap!
That's how I've done everything as well, thankfully sans the snow part of it... But this job is SO finicky and requires SO many jacks and things - fuck it, it's worth paying the guy with the right tools to get it done properly without breaking things and cussing as much as I probably would for that particular job. I know the shop the previous owner took it to, so I'll try them first I guess. This'll be my first time there, as I've done all the other work on it. They're kind of fun to work on, those Germans engineered them well still back then. I guess they still do sometimes, but not always...
