I was about to say, I've been an electrician for 14 and I've only seen one female in this industry. All she did was low voltage and maybe some wire work. Never saw her bend pipe or even help on a wire pull. Sweet gal though.

If I recall, the most male job ever is boilermaker. All that stuff has orders of magnitude fewer women than any job which women have actually tried to make less male.

I've seen some in my travels as a HVAC guy.
But I think they scurry away and get sales or counter jobs for wholesalers after they finish their apprenticeship.

ive worked with a couple of them.

the female electrician used to get into her lycra and jog past the lunch huts every lunch time. was also known for banging apprentices.

other than that literally one of the boys and would be down for a job drink or fuck with her to this day.

now ask me about female security guards. no really. id love to tell you all about 100% of those emotional weak minded lazy fucks ive ever worked with and the dangers that go with employing them, giving them a job they shouldnt be doing, fucking their bosses, having the run of a site, and putting people at risk by folding instantly when trouble occurs.

literally never worked with a woman in security that i would ever trust doing anything but making coffee and even then its pushing it because she quickly gets bored and starts causing dramas in the office.... 'oh ill just clean this up over here' 'er... where is x and why arent you doing y?' 'uh havent seen x and i didnt do y because i was cleaning things around x' woman arrives on job an hour late and x is then found where she is now working instead of where it lives

also ask me what 'having a man look' actually means

My plumber is a chick. About late 20's, born into the family business. Tomboy without butch. Would rather play rough then be dainty. She first showed up with another guy. I assumed she was the admin/estimator/office person or whatever.
She grabbed her tool bag out of the van, went to work, cutting torch, soldering, knew her shit. Surprised the f out of me, so I asked. Her dad and uncle took over grandpa's plumbing business, and she and her brothers and cousins all work there. Small town, family business.

Plus, watching her work sure beats watching some 50+ plumber crack dude.

My ac guy had a couple girls working for him but you are right I'm in construction I flip houses and have some rental properties and side jobs. Never seen a female electrician or plumber. One guy had his daughter doing work once but he was a fucking retard she seemed ok I could see a woman doing electrical work if they put their mind to it
