I bought an 18 year old truck from an 80-something yr old man. It only had 80k miles on it.

I replaced the rubber parts and it's good to go.

Crown vics have Ford's 4.6l 2-valve. Those are easy to work on and pretty solid. I'd stay away from fancier grandma cars because of the more involved suspension (Mercury Grand Marquis, Lincoln Towncars)

First off that wizard guy is a total douche geek fag. Second is those cars are easy to maintain and very roomy and comfortable
