1 hour per batch x 24 hours x 15 ovens = 360 batches of cookies per day

360 batches per day x 365 days per year = 131,400 batches per year

(131,400 batches per year x 5 years) + 360 on Feb 29 = 657,360 batches of cookies

We'd need around 150 ovens to meet that demand. Also they only had a little more than 4 years, not five.

And I think it's a bit strange that all the cookie-baking was only discovered in the bakeries that the communists took from the bakers.

Up until the First World War, the Germans were allied with the Ottomans. They went in and built them railroads and infrastructure.

They should have sent all their cookies to the turks. Let them deal with them. They could have made cookie crumb pie crusts.
