They must of been only going 30mph if they were in a subdivision. Maybe the doors wouldn't unlock and they couldnt get out. It's hard to believe they weren't able to get out of the car.

Worse than that, that road is a cul-de-sac. Granted, it's 1 acre lots, but there are only 8 houses on that street, so 300' per lot instead of 120-150' which is normal in that area. 2400', so roughly a 1/2 mile road, start to finish.
