you know i wonder if someone could make some kind of plugin or whatever that allows you to overlay any article with a comment section, that possibly also represents any comments from the actual source.

get around censorship of commenting on locked or controversial articles by making sure there is always an accessible comments section for anything.

Gab had something like that called Dissenter. They made a browser version too, but it appears to have been abandoned.

Gab did that with their Dissenter extension. Then certain browser tried to block the extension, so Gab created their own browser.

I didn't even know they had a browser now, but it is based off Brave, https://dissenter.com/download

does anyone actually use Opera? I've tried it three or four times over the past decades and it always crashes often so I end up removing it.

I've never used it. I know there are some people who like it. I think the name is what turns me off the most from it.
