I both agree and disagree with you. Let me start by saying that I love you very much, and that anything that I say comes from that place. Life is hard for all of us. Here, however, with the scenario above and what you have stated, I cannot empathize with you nearly enough. Anybody can have children; it's not hard, and changes the purpose behind every action of your life that you take afterwards. Most of the people that I've encountered, even the ones who created children out of irresponsibility, say that there's both frustration and fulfillment in the act of raising them. It's up to each of us to understand our own bodies and thoughts, and if your dream was to hold your children in your arms, then you should have pursued it when time was on your side. It's never going to be that way permanently for any of us. For those of us who don't reach those goals, there's not going to be any benefit to the periods of guilt and anger that you waiver between until you're finally old enough to lose the ability to care. Use your painful lesson to teach others to avoid your fate. That's the only benefit that can come out of this.
