PS: Someone I know likes to show me stuff on their phone from time to time. It has the odd habit of locking up for no reason shortly after I get it. This explains why most likely. No notification of why has ever been displayed.

For the intellectually inept and those shills who conveniently "cant" understand why its bad:

We have governments all over saying they want to predict action, and red flag if not police people based on emotional state and what their face looks like. Instantly leading to more violations of privacy and rights.

There is linking your face to your device and thus privately expressed opinion and viewing habits. Anyone who knows anything of what totalitarian (possibly all) governments do should be concerned. Having the wrong opinions can get you killed or any number of other things as any real journalist knows. Even awareness of cancel culture or the violation of your inalienable human right of privacy should be enough to cause opposition.

There is also blending this kind of thing in with Social Credit Score. That being red flagging a person and then deciding how much difficulty and suppression they and the ones around them are going to have in this life.

All this is just scratching the iceberg. No one could tolerate a stalker taking pictures of their child every day. Regardless of reason or the nature of the picture. Automate a machine to quietly do it and somehow people forget the outrageous severity of what is being done.

It's more than this. It was proven a few years back that facial recognition can be beaten with clever makeup, certain facewear, etc.

Note in Apple's white paper that they are trying to have their neural engine learn and link makeup patterns to the face.

I have a theory that Snapchat face filters which pre and post pandemic focused VERY HEAVILY ON SURGICAL MASKS

Like stylish, surgical masks with cute designs and such

Are made to train their facial AI to recognize partial and covered faces.

For example you look into the camera on SnapChat, it graphs out your face, now it applies a digital mask face filter, and then with that digital mask blocking out part of your face, it then runs the AI again to train the AI to recognize that image of the coveted face mask face.

I remember going through settings recently while trying to manage how often your phone locks, wanting to change from 30 seconds to a minute, and I believe I saw a bunch of really confusingly worded settings that had to do with this.

Dig through the settings it was something about tracking eye movement and facial expressions. It was very wish washy terms meant to confuse.
