I haven't moved in yet and have been busy the past couple weekends SO I haven't had the chance to stop by. We'll my dad went by my house today and there was water everywhere, called the water people, they checked and it was 328,000 gallons spilled. I'm fucking infuriated. I bought that land and built the house to get away from the dumbass city, and I guess someone else doesn't like me. It was probably the spics that live across the fence. Or that white trash Karen who came onto my property last time I mowed to lecture me about grass being on the fucking farm to Market Rd that my house is on. I guess I'm gonna have to shoot someone sooner or later. I need to set up cameras.

File a police report. Maybe if you show this to the water dept they'll give you some consideration.

2 words for the graduate: Game Camera.

You can camo them better than store bought with silicone caulk and paint (look this shit up it's cools tuff)- but buy 2 and put one looking at the game camera that is looking at your home.

Sorry you encountered some asswipes man. I'd do the police report and insurance, and then go say hi to your neighbors...don't assume it was them, they may have the same problem and you might be their savior. Keep an open mind.

It's in the country though. I mean I have 2 neighbor houses close by, that's it. I'm skeptical about the teenager thing. I feel like someone doesn't like the fact that I built this nice new (but just like 1200sqft) house and planted grass and stuff. There was nothing on my 3 acres before I built the house.

I'm just wondering what I should do, and what my options for action are in the case that I catch someone trespassing, or even just coming onto my property uninvited, or someone coming at night. Texas btw. This has me stressed out, pissed off, and annoyed. I'd stick the muzzle of my AR in anyone's face that shows up uninvited if I could, but the law keeps me in check. I don't want to get arrested.

When I had city water, they didnt even need to show up. They're all digital and they could tell me on the phone how much I've used.

How long ago did you buy it? We recently bought an older house on a large lot, in a small town. It had been listed and empty for almost a year. Our realtor showed it to us, but the listing price was out of our price range. She said just make an offer what you think it's worth and see what they say. So we offered 60% of listed price, and finally got it for 65% of listed price. When we were moving in some 'good ol boy' came by and was pissed off. He said he wanted to buy it, but was waiting for them to lower the list price. It's been 6 months and he drives by almost everyday and gives me a dirty look if I'm outside. Everybody else smiles and waves.

i've got a neighbor who hates me because he turned down an offer for my land at 60% of what I paid for it. Every time he bitches, I tell him he should have bought it if he cares that much and then ignore him. Building a big fence and blocking his view was sweet.
He went too far one day and shot at me with an air rifle. Now he's gone totally silent, because he makes his living with guns and it'd destroy him if i went to the cops about it :D

use hotspot on phone and ipcamera when away

clear the surrounding area so there is nowhere to sneak around clear it as much as possible

high chance whoever it is will be having a mask on so don't expect to see their face on camera

I don't think you will find the people who did it because it sounds like they knew you wouldn't be home so they took the opportunity

I'm hoping it was just some asshole small town teenagers. I haven't really interacted with my spic neighbor much, and he hardly speaks any english anyways. I do know that when my house was getting build, the MEXICANS building my house, walked to his house, and asked if they could pay him to plug one of their extension cords in there and run it to my house for work. The spic neighbor said, "Get off my property." to other mexicans! I'm wondering how it's going to play out with him when I actually move in. Man you should see his land too. It's the ONLY (bout 3 acre) plot of land that is just full of cows and is overgrazed as fuck. bare ass dirt ground because too many animals. Dude just feeds em hay cuz there's no grass. When I mow the cows come to the fence to try to get the leftover green grass that blows over.
