The real ones cave when you point out that science relies on proof demanded by cynicism. Only bad science asks for trust like a religion. Just tell them science isn't a religion. They're going with word in place of reality because they're confused frightened and abused.

Salt flats. Some go for miles and are perfectly flat. You can shine a laser across the entire thing without any deviation in height. How would this be possible on a ball?
