That and it was taken in low light. Had all my old pictures digitized a while (about 4000 of them), some came out good some not so good. The not so good was due to age of the negatives.
Here is a link to a digital magazine. It is for Canon cameras, but the technical stuff applies to any manufacturer. With a digital subscription, you can go into the library of past issues for a plethora of info. Also all of the pictures will list shutter speed, ISO, aperture and other settings to see how the camera is set up.

I've seen some of your work, you just need a good tripod and these kind of results are easy. Just camera setup.....
