I took cold showers every day for a few months when my waterheater broke a few winters ago and I was being lazy about getting it replaced. It was great. Every day started with overcomeable struggle, and put me in a really good place mentally. Cold showers sound worse than they really are though. The shock of getting under the cold water is rough at first, but your body quickly adapts to it, and by the end of the shower, it doesn't feel cold anymore. Since getting my waterheater replaced however, I haven't taken another cold shower. Perhaps I should...
A few years ago i was trying to save as much money as possible so i turned off my water heater. I have not turned it on since. Cold showers in the summer are great, in the winter here in Canada it can be tough sometimes.
