If people these days had any balls they would get armed, posse up, and go demand that these charges be dropped... and maybe lynch the DA for good measure, just to make sure it doesn't happen again.

I could see where this was an easy deal to take, but it sets a bad example going forward.

Guns confiscated, fines paid to the state, admission of some type of guilt, the threat of an OR-Else penalty if they didn't give in.. For what? defending their lives and home from a literal mob of crazies
