This is my child mind memory but the impression was as soon as he got even a little bit of space from his old partner he blew out of proportion some of his actions to seperate himself and then shortly after he got his own show
I saw him and Sarah Silverman at Chuy's in Austin (or it may have been Houston) one time. They were just sitting at a table among the peasant trash. Their table was across the room from mine. This was around 2008 or 09.
