E: One last side note, once I downloaded, I had to change the extension from .mov.quicktime to just .mov, then convert to .mp4 ... if that helps for the future. Why there was a .quicktime second extension after I downloaded it, no fucking clue.

There is a program called ffmpeg for Windows (it has to exist for Linux and Mac as well). You can compress video files a lot with it. It might help. It has no UI, and so it is command line based, but either online will have answers, or I can show some command lines that work, although I am absolutely a non-expert with this stuff.

Hey I don't either, I can barely work my coffee maker on a good day. I just know that with an mp4 it plays in a mini viewer. God forbid I video something interesting, cause it'll probably be posted the same as yours.
