You can always demand a jury trial. It's your Constitutional right no matter what any judge or DA says. Do this - politely - and they'll drop the charges 99$ of the time, because they simply don't want to deal with your shit. Win or lose, it's a huge money sink for them and they don't want that.

Just demand a jury trial. And if you have a cam recording form a dashboard camera (backed up somewhere else, with someone else, of course) and they'll drop everything and let you go. It's all about dollars, and at that point you're a fucking loss even if they win.

If in a real court and in front of a real judge (rare in traffic court unless you demand a "real judge", I always demand real judges), a real judge would be outraged and charge that guy with contempt of court, and possibly a couple days arrest.

In all traffic courts in all large cities , the judges are "fake judges" technically state employees called MAGISTRATES, that the court calls "judge" and the proceedings refer to them as "your honor" etc.... BUT THEY ARE FAKE JUDGES. A Real judge can be requested, even in traffic court, and you might have to wait all day, or schedule the next day.
