Everything in this story makes me sick. Here we had a nice old lady who died before she could complete her beautiful embroidered quilt panels.
Some Marxist feminist bought the pieces and had volunteers help stitch them together and add their own anti-white, commie attitudes embroidered into their work.
The completed quilt has the old lady's original pieces forever stitched next to the propaganda.
It's all vile and corrupted.
Look at this shit:
"(Shannon) Downey is intent on upholding Rita’s original vision, but she is glad that the pattern has led to conversations that complicate the ‘wholesome’ narrative. “A lot of people who follow me are white women,” she says, acknowledging that #RitasQuilt largely attracted white stitchers and quilters. “And I feel a great responsibility to gather them and be like, ‘Okay, y’all, let’s talk about white supremacy, let’s talk about intersectionality.’ We have so much work to do.”
What a bunch of inconsequential, blathering, useless old bitches.
They've been smashing the patriarchy for decades, and what did they get for it?
They made themselves more important than children, and their children are dying of drugs and suicide in unprecedented levels while the STD rates have never been higher.
Arts and crafts are enjoyable and decorative. They aren't important, and no level of idleness and economic ease that gives them the ability to inflate their self importance through quilting will change that.
My grandmother's crazy quilts were large slabs of fabric thrown together for utility. When she died, nobody saved them because they weren't worth saving. They were necessary and highly valuable during their useful lives; not pretty.
Nobody but nobody needs a feminist for anything.
I like pretty arts and crafts as much as the next person. I don't need them, and neither does anyone else.

Why are the women that worked on the marxist parts so unattractive? Is that possibly why they're are feminists? I'm getting snark vibes from those photos.

Pretty, feminine women don't usually have that problem and appreciate and adore men.
