I’ve given this some thought, and there are two possible optimal outcomes;

1) this parent becomes an Orthodox Christian monastic, and devotes themselves to a life of prayer and repentance, begging the Lord for forgiveness for the rest of their natural life, thereby saving their soul, or;

2) if they absolutely refuse to become Orthodox, they should avenge their family’s honor by taking out as many of these subversives as they can on their way out.

See, I believe in forgiveness - in the case of genuine repentance.
