It's worth viewing this with the fact that the UK is a pretty low compliance country.

Before the whole freedom day bs, there were 2 types of pubs.

(usually chain pubs) that insisted on track and trace, ordering via apps etc.. Empty pubs

Pubs that had a clipboard by the door that no one signed into on.. Full pubs

UK government always makes rules a little harsher or stricter than is wanted, because they factor in the non compliance.

Speed limit is 70, because gov doesn't want people going faster than 80
