Contractor destroys new building after property developer refused to pay him.

Some additional details:

1. The guy is a sub-contractor for the property developer who was not paid for the work completed.

2. No people were inside the building

3. He specifically rented the excavator for this mission

4. He also damaged some garages that had gas canisters on top

5. He only stopped because the hydraulic hose ruptured after taking damage from the building debris

6. He turned himself in after he was done.

I really should have been damaging some of the foundation pillars which would basically make the building a total loss and unfixable. What he was doing would be easy to repair.

Not sure about the US but in Germany even mid size fire crackers are highly regulated, rated R and can only be used/sold 48 hours before NYE.

Wanna reload your own ammo ? asuming you somehow managed to get the ok to own guns for a very specific purpose, you need to provide a clean record which shows more than that you don't just have any crimes, no you need to be rated "safe", then you need a dozen courses and you need to be 21.


So yeah considering all this, renting (even if you have to get a license first) excavator is way easier.
