I'm grateful, truly, that Voat doesn't have an arbitrary set of rules, and I hope it stays that way. Regardless of whatever facade is presented, the reality is that system has complete control and can ban anyone for any reason and doesn't need to justify it at all. By not having rules that arbitrary decisions can be hidden by, he has to explain each and every action with context. For example, when Gabara was banned he had to give an actual reason, not just say "I'm pointing to rule #17" and then that's that, end of conversation. That's how they operate at Reddit and other forums and it's so gay and demeaning and childish.
