Always make people swear their oaths on something, and make sure they understand you will take it should they break their oath.

Never let someone make an oath to you, if you do not have the power to take that which they swear upon.

I get it. I too, got fucked over a lot for having integrity. The world is built around theft, not integrity. Every bank would have us all as slaves. However, there is another kind of reward that exists for those who live life under two basic rules, made by God: your word is your bond, and you shall reap what you sow. Everyone in life is made by God to teach you a lesson.

honor is a measure of what others think of you.

an honorable person, family, profession is based upon the conclusion of others.

be yourself and do what drives you and gives purpose. if you ignore yourself, that's dishonorable.

or just kill jews and niggers. that's honorable.

But the only way for rules to exist is if there are consequences for breaking them.

There's a difference between being honorable and being a gullible fool. If you are an honorable man,only deal with honorable men. Don't make deals with scammers. Don't believe liars. Don't allow thieves in your home. Say what you mean and mean what you say. Anyone who doesn't do this should never be trusted. And anyone who breaks their word with you or tries to scam you,you are not bound to uphold your word.
