for recovery, and to aleviate the pain, i recommend massages, hot and cold showers (unless you have two bathtubs, one with hot, one with freezing water) and never forget that for your muscles to regenerate, you have to get blood into them, so MOVE also on your rest days, just with drastically lower weight and heart rate...

dont forget static and dynamic stretching! it works wonders!

I decided yesterday was a good day to knock out some ass to ankle squats then do yard work in 90* heat for 5 hours.

Power is out across my state, not a good morning.

so the hole you dug in your yard was so deep it cut a cable =)
