Ben Domenech was guest hosting the Jimmy Failla show. He spoke with a former helicopter pilot that served in Afghanistan. Her summation was "what was it all for?".

It reminded me of volunteering for a Veterans charity outside a Sams Club in Sarasota Fl about 4 years ago. A man in his 50's walked up and put a $100 bill in the canister.

I thanked him very much. He then began telling me about his son. Who had been killed in combat in Afghanistan. I listened respectfully. He probably had no one else to talk to about it. Its breaking my heart as I write this.

That was the tough part of volunteering. Listening to people tell you about their war dead.

I cant tell you how many bitter Viet Nam vets angrily said to me "NOBODY HELPED ME!".

If I had a $1 dollar for every cheapskate that said " I are one" or my favorite, the women, who say " I have one at home. I help him every day".

Thats fantastic. Im glad you made your old man a sandwich. Theres plenty of guys that come back with physical and or mental issues. What about the guys that have no one?

My hope is that the American sheeple wake the fuck up and stop letting greedy incompetent politicians send their sons to die led by incompetent political Officers that only care about the next rung on the ladder. Im talking to you FUCKING GENERAL MILLEY!
