Is it really changing that much? They're banning sex acts and real or simulated fluids that occur during sex, etc.

Nude & risqué photos are still allowed, which I thought was what the platform predominately is in the first place. Maybe I'm naïve, but I don't much like to concern myself with evil. Though, I hope this curbs some degeneracy.

Is this move "controlled opposition"? Is it a false morale boost? Will anything actually change because of this...?

They’re getting sued to fuck by the parents of minors who were whoring themselves on their site. That’s why they’re changing the rules now. Whether it can save them from bankruptcy via litigation is yet to be seen though. One thing I did learn from all this is that the company was set up in Essex, which is utterly hilarious for anyone who has ever met, or even seen, an Essex girl.

It was originally launched as a patreon type site for artists. According to the company they grew increasingly uncomfortable with legally and morally riskier content dominating the site, so they're cutting it off.

According to the e-whores they deliberately used them to build the site's popularity and brand recognition then kicked them to the curb once the site got big.

I suspect the latter. Kinda like bitchute and odyssee using youtube refugees to build critical mass.

I think the multiple legal actions against them from the parents of minors who were whoring themselves on their site thanks to their piss poor age control probably has more to do with it than anything else tbh. They’ve basically shuttered their company with this move, it’s not like people will flocking to it to support artists thanks to the whores giving them brand recognition. Also, it was set up by some cunt from Essex - that level of degeneracy is probably considered fine art in that utter kip of a place.
