I've got a 30 year old reflective telescope that I managed to get a few awesome pictures of the moon with my cell phone camera looking through the eyepiece, maybe 5 years ago. High resolution pictures that can blow up pretty large, you can actually see moon mountains around the edges.
Not that I know of, but a used fujifilm s9200 bridge camera (or something similar) is cheaper than a good phone. The s9200 has a 1200mm zoom capability, so it takes decent moon pictures for it's cost.
