When I was young, like 20 years ago, my plan was to escape to Australia to get away from the US bullshit. Fuck me.

This development was predictable, and predicted. People just didn't listen, and still don't.

Everything that can happen, will happen. And there is nothing preventing this from happening. When something is moving in a direction, it will continue moving in that direction until something stops it. And there is nothing stopping this from continuing.

Voting doesn't work. Politicians are professional liars and the whole system is too corrupt to fix from within. Protests don't work. Nobody in charge cares if you go for a walk while moaning about this and that. None of them care if you get in a fight with police or burn some cars, either. They watch from a safe distance and laugh at your futile struggles, if they even notice.

What consequences have the ones pushing these policies faced? They have only gotten richer and more powerful.

And so this will continue. There's no reason it would stop.

I've been thinking that too - let China complete their takeover and be done with it. This drip feed method of taking away our freedom is cruel.
