This might be a spicy thread. Don't be a half-asser if you really want to get into religion. It won't do you any good and it won't do your religion any good either. There's three main groups of goats: Christians, Heathens/Pagans, and Atheists/General non-believers. Remember that religion has an extremely strong cultural aspect to it-- it is not easily separated from the theological aspects in many cases. So if you're going to do it-- you have to whole-ass it.

If you're going to be a Christian, the only acceptable form of Christianity is basically being a full-blown Crusader. If you're not going to curb-stomp heretics/blasphemers, shitskins, or kikes while trying to rebuild a better/greater Christendom, then get the fuck out. Downsides: You'll have to interact with a lot of Christians who flat-out hold retard heretical beliefs-- like all the ones who call themselves Judeo-Christians--- completely perverting the word of the Son of God and a lot of your music will suck. Upsides: Smiting people is likely to become a thing again soon.

Alternatively, if you're really a True Child of the North(^tm) and you don't think you should be following some desert religion from the middle east, then you can take up one of the native european religions. (eg: Rodnovery if you're mostly Slav, Romuva if you're mostly Baltic, Heathenism/Odinism if you're mostly Germanic/Nordic/AngloSax, Druidry if you're Celtic, Hellenism if you're Greek, Religio Romana if you're Italian. Downsides: Everyone will think you're a larping faggot and most of the (small number of) people who share your religion will probably be larping faggots. Upsides: You get some really rad holidays and music.

If you choose atheism/other general non-belief, religion is not going to be a major aspect of your life. Downsides: Everyone will think you're an actual faggot. Upsides: You're probably an actual faggot.

Alternative alternative, I know a guy who follows (in his words) 'The Green Woman'. I'm not sure what this entirely entails, because the guy is legitimately a lunatic. But the gist I got from his rambling is that he worships nature itself. Apparently, he doesn't see himself as separate from nature, he's sees himself as just another 'creature' like fish or a squirrel or a tree or something. The only 'law' is just to do what every other creature does--- survive. That's it, nothing else. It's almost like a neo-animist religion-- if you even want to call it that. Downsides: Literally you and one crazy dude in the woods will make up this entire 'religion'. Upsides: Literally only one law/tenant to follow. (You have to admire the ideological purity here, so streamlined).

I would probably get along with your friend. The foundation of my moral system, and ideology is the pursuit of survival.
It's nice, there's no ambiguity about whether something is right or wrong. If it's wrong, it harms or kills you now, or it harms, kills, or ends your bloodline later. If it's right, it is a benefit to your survival.

If you are going to approach God. Be correct. Aim for perfection. And when you fall short, get back up, dust yourself off, and continue on the narrow path.

Hosea 4:6  My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

Ecclesiastes 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

Hebrews 11:6  But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

2Timothy 2:15  Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
2Timothy 2:16  But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.

About your bear attacks.

Matthew 17:20  And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

Matthew 19:26  But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

Believe.

Romans 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Do your own research for a while. Jesus never required a church, just a congregation. Find people you're comfortable with discussing this with. If you look into Christianity, I advise ignoring the Old Testament entirely, and most of the New Testament. Read some Bart Ehrman about old Christianity scripture and how the books that are now canon were accepted as such and why others didn't make the cut. Look into the rejected ones.

Remember even Martin Luther had his doubts about the authenticity of certain books. Christians are under no obligation to follow the Mosaic law, and the Trinity isn't even slightly scriptural and is a later addition to the Christian faith that was made orthodox in the second and third centuries. Look into Arius.

As for the God of the New Testament, look into Marcion, who argued that the god of the Old Testament bears no relationship to the God of Jesus. The former was the god of the jews, who was an angry and vengeful god, while God the Father is a God of love.

Religion is your own choice. You don't have to believe anything you find ridiculous. You can create your own orthodoxy.

"join a religion"

I would find out who the 'Caucasians' were, it all dovetails from there. People act like there's a ton of 'whites' sitting at a table struggling on this.

If you pass down your faith to your children, and you should, keep in mind natural selection and ideology are inseparably bound to one another. Also keep in mind that communal ideologies are subject to subversion, whereas personal ideologies cannot be subverted.

You can make a communal ideology into a personal ideology simply by separating it and yourself from its originating community.

Also, keep in mind you can make your own either from scratch or from another ideology. In other words, stop looking for others to think for you.

I was a new apostolic for my childhood. Basic christianity for the most part. Pretty mellow. I can only recommend christianity as the best form of control over a population that otherwise wont behave themselves. So, its personally not for me.

I prefer a hodge podge of beliefs. I will die in battle, my ancestors will be proud, i will go to a better afterlife where i will still fight the good fight, but it wont be so hopeless as here. Call it leaving midgard to go to Valhalla if thats what you wanna call it. But thors never hit me with lightning for my challenges to the gods. Same as the abrahamic god hasnt. Same as ive never seen a ghost or spirit or supernatural creature or occurence of any kind.

Religion is a control apparatus.

Be confident in your convictions and walk out the door if they every say anything that conflicts.

as a rational man, i am neither pagan nor Christian
neither pious nor impious

i merely see the world been infesting with a deliberate and satanic influence by hook nose desert goblin "people" who call themselves jews

these "jews" believe in a false religion and thus make false surrogates to it
the surrogates that surround it comes as homosexuality, worship of money, and worship of women (the basest and vilest form of worship) and worship of Anti-White (Tikkun Olam)

i could go on a tirade how satanic jews are almost to the point that makes Christianity prophetic but i think that's not the point

the point is to love our people and to hate the (((devil))) and his minions (jews, niggers, homosexuals, "liberated" women, spics and other inferior life-forms)

i think genocide is in order
on a mass-global scale to fix this (((satanic))) problem that infests every single country in the world

but ChristCucks think expulsions will fix it, that the jews won't return with a vengeance
i quite disagree with their analogy
dead enemies cannot rise against you, subvert your women to become whores, can't import a bajillion apefricans into your country as "diversity"
can't dominate your markets, your culture, your architecture your very fucking existence

dead enemies stay dead for good

if we have to plunge the world to a Nuclear Armageddon (Samson option) that would be a small price to pay...

Jesus and Abraham's God are Jewish. The Christian religion is pure Jewish culture. It is a very nice religion with high ethic standards, but it is not an European religion.

In Christian theology, the appearance of Christ, the Messiah, is the fulfilling of the messianic prophecies of the Old Testament. The Messiah has a specific job to get done (which Jesus did not), and the Messiah is not supposed to abrogate any commandments like the kashrut or the circumcision, which Jesus did, as this contradicts the eternity of the Torah (= Old Testament). But without the Old Testament, the New Testament does not make any sense.

The word Messiah literally means "Mashiach" in Hebrew, which is meant to be the saviour and liberator of the Jewish people exclusively.

As is known, orthodox Jews reject the idea of Jesus being the Messiah for various theological reasons, while Christians insist in that Jesus is the Messiah. But what is the point in non-jewish Europeans telling the Jews who is the real savior of the Jewish people?

For those believing that Jews and Christians worship different Gods: When you say "Hallelujah!" at church service, you effectively say "praise Yah!" in Hebrew, which is a short form for "praise Yahweh!", who is nothing else than Abraham's God.

If you are of non-jewish European descent and you feel that you need monotheism and Abraham's God, you may try Noahidism, which grants salvation to anyone following the seven laws of Noah. Noahidism may be perceived as bland by some, so you may try Islam, which is a full scale hardcore monotheism. Cat Stevens adopted Islam, btw.

This said, a connective element between Jews and Muslims is that they both know that Christians are worshipping a theological phantom and commiting idolatry from a strict orthodox point of view. Jews and Muslims understand the old texts very well as they were written in their native language and are part of their cultural heritage.

Finally: If you are of European descent, I suggest you go for germanic, celtic or pagan religion.
