This is the "UfA Tonwoche" newsreel, issue 468, aired on 23 August, 1939.

One week later, Germany launched the Poland offensive.

To my knowledge this has never been available in English to the general public, until now.

"Why did Hitler invade Poland?"

A question that often comes up when discussing WW2. Even here, people rarely know or have good answers. Even more rare than answers are sources. As with any war, the victors put a lot of effort into burying and discrediting any just cause their enemy might have had.

This video lays out the German perspective, the situation they were in, the history that led up to it, and why they had to act.

It explains how the territories in question, that Germany "invaded", were still Germany merely 20 years prior, before the Treaty of Versailles of 1919, and had been German for hundreds of years before that. It shows that Germans still lived on that land, and spoke German, and wanted to be German, and part of Germany. They had no interest in being Polish. They were just told one day that they must be. It shows German refugees fleeing those regions, their own homeland, that their ancestors had lived on for hundreds of years, because of the hunger and poverty and violence they suffered under Polish rule. Many of them testify that they are forbidden from teaching their children German, their own language, or sending them to German schools. Those who disobey are imprisoned or sent to Russia.

Is it all just Nazi propaganda and lies? Maybe. I can only show it to you. It's up to you to decide what's true.

But ask yourself: Why has nobody shown this to you before? Why was it hidden away? Why would sharing this in Germany likely land you in a cell next to Mrs Haverbeck?

This is an excellent question.

Until now the best understanding I have been able to form as to why the invasion of Poland, stems from a state that was running out of money. Germany had overspent radically and needed to resort to expansionism in order to survive. As happens and has happened over and over again throughout history whenever talking about a Socialist state.

But that might not be true. This whole area of history is so muddy, someone went through a lot of effort to make sure it was as muddy as it could possibly be. This isn't even all that long ago, there should be clear records about what happened and exactly why. So the fact there isn't clear information is a sign of cover up.

Pilpul can answer most of that.

The Jewish press went to work world wide to agitate a war on Germany as they did in WWI. Without fear mongering and anger invoking propaganda, wars wouldn't happen. Poland instigated war with Germany because the leader was a Marxist and hated Germany.

Because Germany lost, international Jewry won and were able to maintain the narrative about the war. This is where Pilpul comes into play. Pilpul is the weaving in and out of traffic like a motorcycle cheating it's way ahead. It will agree & disagree with whatever it has to in order to stay ahead of the game. It will tell truths and platitudes and slide the topic into other, unrelated fields of discussion, and it will take both sides of debate.

This is heavily employed with the subject of Poland. The headlines screamed INVASION of a NEUTRAL country as justification for the rest of the world to wage war upon Germany as if it was the aggressor. They won't tell you of Poland's crimes leading up to it.

Poland was not neutral. The top generals wanted war with Germany because they knew the rest of the Jewish influenced world would come to their aid, but that turned out to be a lie.

You also won't hear about Russia invading more than Germany, or how it fell to communism.

Germany wasn't invading so much as it was rescuing German citizens from Genocide. Millions were being raped & murdered, entire families buried in mass graves.

Germany wasn't hurting for money, it had the best economy in the world during the depression. This lust for money and gold story is false, invented by Jewish newspapers and authors. They often project their crimes onto their adversaries. There's an old saying;

You can always tell what crimes a jew has committed when he accuses you of them

They smear the word Socialism by applying the Communist factors to it. This is also a pilpul tactic. They've convinced the world all socialism is bad by this tactic of telling a lie and building upon it. The socialism that fails isn't socialism, it's communism. Communism is sold as a different form of socialism, but it was corrupted by Marx. It's designed to fail because it robs the host country of its resources. The only ones that benefit are the Jewish financiers and political leaders. It's a giant robbery in which they take everything.

Original Socialism is based on Christianity, the "help thy neighbor" model in which the people are the focus. The Marxist version relies on government forcefully taking from citizens and giving to who they see fit, often the most undeserving and nonproductive. That is the major difference.

without jews financing wars through ((central banks)) , wars wouldnt happen as well

From the stories I was told by old people in my home city (Danzig - today Gdansk in Poland), before the war the Poles were a minority of around 5%. The Poles had one post office and one military post (Westerplatte). Both were guarded by armed forces, however these forces were not significant comparing to the German military potential. Just before the attack on the 1st September 1939 the Germans estimated that the Poles will be able to defend themselves for around 5 hours. Westerplatte was defending itself for almost 2 weeks and the Polish post defence lasted not from 4.45 am until around 7 pm on the 1st September 1939. According to my knowledge - the Germans initially wanted to invade Poland in order to gain territory that would protect them from the possible attack by the Soviet Union (to give them enough time to defend Germany should such attach happen) and in the same time be able to attack France and other western countries. From a military perspective it made sense.

That's wrong Edmundo. Research the Ribbontrop/Molotov pact. The Germans were not trying "...to gain territory that would protect them from the possible attack by the Soviet Union. They wanted to have the part of their country taken away after WW1 back. A huge part of what was Poland was German and had been part of German a few years earlier. It was taken away at Versai and placed in the Poles now larger boundry. Germany wanted it back.
