Australia is the only common law country with neither a constitutional nor federal legislative bill of rights to protect its citizens, although there is ongoing debate in many of Australia's states.

Even NZ legislated a bill of civil rights in 1985, passing in 1990.

Where I'm at, Canada, (((THEY))) have been known to ask firearms license applicants if they were getting murdered and were able to grab a gun and unlock and load the thing, would they use it to defend themselves.

You're supposed to say no. It's such a clownshow.

In Australia there is some form for drivers licence renewal that asks if you drive drunk or while under the influence of illegal drugs or something similar. Why would anyone answer yes to those questions?

Old Voat had a UK and a couple of Canadian subs but they were never active as the Australia sub. You bet we are pissed down here (though pissed means drunk in Strayan.)
