Directions should have included: "Not for internal use and don't stuff it up your cunt."

How the fuck does asbestos lurk?

[ - ] SparklingWiggle 0 points 3.7 yearsSep 17, 2021 16:06:43 ago (+0/-0)

By not logging in.

It's a naturally occurring mineral, same as talc.

It’s okay, I’m sure they learned their lesson. Get your vax.

That's awesome.

They probably didn't say anything about it because the amount of asbestos was so slight that it wouldn't have any harmful effect. The current scare with asbestosis and mesothelioma is overblown and entirely caused by litigious attorneys.

Asbestos-related diseases usually arise after years of regular exposure to the toxic mineral. Long-term exposure can occur with baby powder. Many people initially received talcum powder as babies to prevent diaper rash, and they continued using the product into adulthood.

Long-term use of asbestos-contaminated talcum powder can lead to cancer.

How many people got cancer, asbestosis, or mesothelioma? All of them? Obviously not. But more than one, so that number is between 1 and every single consumer of talcum powder. I think the actual number is very low. In fact, it's so low, that it's hard to get any actual number of people who experienced any of these diseases.

I don't say that there's nothing to it, but that the whole issue is completely blown out of proportion and driven entirely by bottom feeding attorneys.

Instead of reporting all findings, Johnson & Johnson only submitted select studies to the FDA in the mid-1970s. The company emphasized studies that fit their agenda and claimed that their talc contained no asbestos.

clearly they knew asbestos was harmful or they wouldnt have attempted to hide its presence

I agree entirely with that.

Asbestos is one of the cover stories for cancer caused by atmospheric nuke testing
