Maybe the opposite. Put in some severely unreasonable rules that they throw in, so when they get rid of them later it makes the very unreasonable rules seem reasonable by comparison. Makes them feel like they won something in the negotiations.

Go and fuck up something small before the annual general meeting, so when it comes time for the lazy fat cats to deliberate on things that need fixing, you tend to the small problem you created to detract away from all the other things going to shit that you nag them about all year.
The same goes for women, don't have everything perfect. Makes noticeable little fuck ups intentionally through the dating period that you can easily fix. It will enamour her to you more, than if you actually did everything right, then she'd only get bored.
