It was no mistake, also why are children getting the flu shot. Kids have robust immune systems and are near enough impervious to most ill effects of influenza before puberty. Even after puberty it only kills around 2% of the population.
Honestly this is no big deal and here is why. If you take your four year old child in to get a flu shot; you are going to take your four year old child in for the covid jab. They merely saved the shitty parents a future trip.
